Natural England consultation on its Science Framework, 'Integrated science to support integrated solutions'
Over the last few months, specialists in Natural England’s Evidence Team have been working on a Science Framework for our science, research and evidence. We introduced some of our initial ideas to a group of external stakeholders at an event near Oxford in March. Since then the document has gone through a number of iterations, but now we have a paper we wish to consult on more widely.
The Science Framework, now known as ‘Integrated science to support integrated solutions’, consists of two sections:
- The Science Framework (pdf 56kb) – outlining our vision and broad direction of travel
- Action Plans (pdf 40kb) to underpin and drive the delivery of the framework
We now wish to engage stakeholders in a consultation exercise. We feel that the Science Framework is fairly near to its final form but would welcome any views you might have on its shape, content and overall direction, and that of the outline Action Plans.
