Evidence Team
We provide a national expert service on natural and social sciences to the rest of Natural England and our external partners. We have specialists covering upland, lowland, coastal, freshwater and marine ecosystems; species; geology, geomorphology and soils; access, recreation, community engagement, social inclusion, health, and social and economic sciences. We underpin much of the work on the England Biodiversity Strategy. We commission and communicate research to ensure that we have the evidence base to support delivery of Natural Englandīs outcomes.
