Potential Severn Barrage
Natural England commissioned a study from Land Use Consultants to consider any impacts of a potential Severn Barrage between Lavernock Point and Brean Down on visual amenity and on the character of the landscape and seascape. The results of the study are for information only and do not reflect or represent Natural England's views on a barrage.
The report presents information about the existing landscape, seascape and visual amenity of the area around the potential Severn Barrage and Severn Estuary, as well as potential key landscape/seascape and visual issues in relation to a barrage of this type.
The report can be downloaded in full. However, because of its size, the report can also be downloaded without the figures, and each figure downloaded individually.
