Natural England believes green infrastructure should be an integral part of the creation of sustainable communities. It can provide multiple benefits for people and wildlife and encapsulates many of Natural England’s strategic outcomes through it’s links with biodiversity, access to natural green spaces, sustainable land use and enhancing an areas robustness for future environmental change.
Green Infrastructure Event on 22nd April 2008
Natural England and the West of England Partnership hosted an event to celebrate green infrastructure and to demonstrate to delegates from across the region that it can be delivered through the spatial planning system.
