Natural England - South West Landscapes Partnership

South West Landscapes Partnership

Established in 2008 the South West Landscapes Partnership has brought together those involved in the management, planning and protection of one of the region's most valuable assets; its landscape.

The aim of the Partnership is to champion all landscapes in the South West, be a strong regional voice for landscape issues at strategic and local levels and co-ordinate consistency of approach between national and regional partners in landscape policy, delivery and research. The Partnership involves all those with a vested interest in the understanding, management and planning of landscapes. With a broad membership working towards common aims, the Partnership functions within the context of the European Landscape Convention and our Terms of Reference. Natural England's landscape web pages provide more information on landscape and on our overall work and remit.

SW Landscapes Partnership Steering Group

The work of the Partnership is directed by a Steering Group. Its membership is drawn from the Partnership.

Project Bank

The completed projects and outputs of the Partnership have been produced in response to both specific local and general region-wide issues, and further projects are planned. Partners are encouraged to share experiences and promote best practice by entering their work in the Partnership ‘Project Bank’.

The Project Bank houses information on work initiated by the Partnership.
