Dowall Hall Farm, Longnor

UELS — time for action
This is for everyone looking at accessing the new Uplands Entry Level Scheme in 2010. If you're losing HFA, or have land in the SDA, then this is for you.

UELS is a five year scheme, paying farmers and land managers £62/ha from 1st July 2010. Similar to ELS, it is accessed by earning points for management options across your holding.

On the walks, we will have a quick introduction of the scheme and look at how it fits in with your current situation. We will then enjoy a walk around the farm, looking at the practical management of options.

Advisors from Natural England and the Peak Park will be available at all events.
Please be prepared for adverse weather on any of these events.

Take the B5053 at Brierlow Bar, on the A515 a few miles south of Buxton. Follow this to Glutton Bridge, then turn immediately right by the phone box. Follow the long drive up to the farm.
