Avian influenza in Suffolk: new restrictions in force
From 7 February 2007 until further notice, new restrictions are in force in the Protection and Surveillance Zones in Suffolk, suspending activities likely to disperse wild birds to prevent the spread of Avian influenza.
If you believe you may be affected by these restrictions please read the latest advice on the Defra website.
These restrictions also apply to activities covered by licences issued by Natural England under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, and other legislation. If you require advice on the implications for licensed activities please contact the Wildlife Management and Licensing Service.
