Christmas and New Year closure
Most of Natural England’s offices are closed for normal business from lunchtime on 22 December until 2 January 2007.
Through the holiday period most of our offices are closed, with the exceptions shown below. Our National Nature Reserves are open to visitors, as are the National Trails, Heritage Coasts, and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
In fact, there are endless opportunities to get outdoors and enjoy yourself during the holiday period. So why not enjoy some fresh air, get physically active, and refresh your mind in one of the beautiful and stimulating natural places near to where you live.
In an emergency your first point of contact should be the appropriate emergency service, fire brigade, police, ambulance or coastguard.
To report an oil pollution incident on the coast or at sea telephone our 24-hour oil pollution pager service on 07659 124846.
To report suspected poisoning of wildlife telephone 0800 321600 (Freephone).
Injured animals
If you are concerned about a sick or injured animal contact your local RSPCA office. Details can be found on the RSPCA website - please see the link below.
