Studland to Portland update
On 5th September the Studland to Portland marine site was submitted to the European Commission (EC) and became a candidate Special Area of Conservation (cSAC).
This follows a formal public consultation that ended in November 2011.
The next stage in the process is the EC evaluation of the submitted cSAC and its adoption by the EC as a Site of Community Importance (SCI).
