2011 Farming Regulation Task Force recommendation

Natural England is also seeking your views on the recommendation of the Farming Regulation Task Force that Natural England should establish a better way to identify small, valuable pieces of biodiverse grassland.

It was suggested that Natural England use the opportunity that this guidance review presents to seek views about how this may be achieved. We would be grateful if you would respond to the question:

N.B. Options should be cost effective, proportionate and inclusive. Examples could include increased use of local biological data record centres, and local expert naturalists to carrying out new survey work.
