Natural England - North Walney: want to get involved?

North Walney: want to get involved?

There are plenty of ways to get involved with the reserve.

Natural England holds a number of events at North Walney NNR each year. Past events have focused on natterjack toads, birds and plants of the nature reserve. We also run litter picks for members of community wanting to help conserve this special area.

For details of current events please visit our North West events page or see posters at the nature reserve.

If you are bringing a group to the NNR then please contact us beforehand as we may be able to provide some assistance and support with your visit.

Schools and Community/ Interest Groups

Groups of all ages and interests are welcome to visit North Walney NNR. Please find some self-guided activity resources below which may be of interest to younger groups.

For specific enquiries relating to your group visit please contact the Senior Reserve Manager.
