Far Ings
Far Ings National Nature Reserve is made up of a series of former clay pits that have been flooded to create reed beds. Located on the south bank of the Humber estuary, it is a major east-west flyway for migrating birds. Far Ings is an excellent environment for observing birds in their natural habitat year round.
Main habitats: reedbeds, open water, meadow and scrub
