Titchfield Haven NNR

Titchfield Haven, part of the lower floodplain of the Meon river, is a low lying and generally flat area. The site was formerly the estuary of the River Meon.

Main habitat: Open water

Management: Although most NNRs are managed by Natural England, some are wholly or partly managed by other bodies approved by Council, under Section 35 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. Titchfield Haven NNR is owned and managed by the Hampshire County Council.
