The Lizard: seasonal highlights
The Lizard is a fantastic place to visit at any time of year!
Spring and summer are the best time to see the coastal grassland in full flower, although the mild climate ensures some all year round colour.
Summer also brings the world’s second-largest fish, the plankton-eating basking shark, into coastal waters.
Back on dry land, and May is the best month to see choughs on the cliffs, while August sees Cornish heath come into flower.
