Saturday 12 April	Wye Community Farm Walk Wye Community Farm is up and running and is using the reserve to graze its cattle. Join a walk to learn about the reserve and the importance of grazing. Friday 9 May	Bird Watching Walk Join in a celebration of International Migratory Bird Day with a walk and bird watching session, lead by the reserve staff . Whether you are just a beginner or more advanced birder, there will be something for everyone on this walk. Saturday 8 June	Family Moth Morning Take a look at the different Moths caught in a previous night’s trap. Learn some interesting facts on why the moths enjoy the conditions found on the reserve. Expert David Gardner is leading the event with ‘Welcome to the Wildside’ (Natural England) and the ‘Denge Wood’s project’. No Dogs. Sunday 29 June	Experimenting with Colour – Art Workshop Using the natural environment of the reserve as inspiration, explore the use of ink based watercolours with artist Cas Holmes. Suitable for both those with little or no experience and those who wish to experiment with different media. Art work will be displayed at Stodmarsh Festival later in the year. Over 16 years only. Sunday 6 July	Photography Workshop Make nature the focus with photographer Ian Andrews. Spend the morning framing nature through a lens from inside a bird hide and then step outside in the afternoon to trial a combination of landscape and close-up techniques. Saturday 26 July	Family Butterfly Walk Enjoy a walk around the reserve and learn all about the butterflies seen along the way. There will be fun activities for children during the event to help them remember those interesting butterfly facts. Thursday 7 August	Children’s Clay Time Capture images of nature in a cast this summer by working with natural materials found on the reserve and clay moulds. Saturday 11 October	Festival at Stodmarsh National Nature Reserve Reedbeds are scarce in England and those found on Stodmarsh National Nature Reserve are one of the largest in the country, so come and join in a celebration of the reserve!
