My Environment app competition
Can you develop a mobile app that helps connect people with nature? If so, you could win a £5,000 prize!
The app should be innovative, available to as many people as possible, and offer new or improved ways for people to explore, understand, enjoy or protect the natural environment in England.
You may want to take advantage of the wealth of data available on Natural England’s data download site
. Over 100 geographical datasets are available under the Open Government Licence; we encourage you to use these in your app, although it is not a requirement. You may use any data or information so long as you have the permission of the data owner.
