Natural England has been gradually rationalising its office estate, firstly through the Working In Natural England (WINE) 2010 Programme, which saw its offices reduce to 32 through a range of flexible working policies including home working and multi-base working.

This has now been extended through the WINE 2014 Programme which is working towards a 20 office model which will be phased over 2011-2014.

The retained offices are likely to be in the following locations:

  • Bristol

  • Cambridge

  • Crewe

  • Exeter

  • Kendal

  • Leeds

  • Lincoln

  • London

  • Newcastle

  • Northallerton

  • Norwich

  • Nottingham

  • Peterborough

  • Sheffield

  • Taunton

  • Telford

  • Winchester

  • Worcester

  • Worthing
